Well yes, you certainly can. Most commonly you can get HPV, which for men isn't really a huge concern normally, but it's still something to check for, and you can also get herpes simplex version 1, which certainly is a bit more concerning... If they had cold sores, and you have never had a cold sore, it is most probable that you did in fact receive this. Now, it is possible if you were bleeding and they were bleeding that you could have contracted HIV, but this is very unlikely, and I don't think this is to be concerned about.
