Shin burning and bruised?

a weeko ago i was playing softball and my coach told me to steal home, i had to slide into the plate to beat the tag and when i did i m not sure what happened but my shin connected with the catchers shin guard HARD, it stopped me right in my tracks of my slide (the catcher was a big girl, a junior, and she didn t even budge) it hurt so bad instantly and i wanted to cry. i played the rest of the game but it hurt very bad to walk, now, about a week later the bruise is gone away but when i touch it, it hurts so bad it s unbearable (like my shin is in flames), when i feel it, there is a giant welp on it.
