Is he trying to make me jealous?

This guy is in my class @ college. He has been looking at me a lot, and we have been giving each other glances. He has seemed as if has been trying to get my attention, even the way he keeps looking at me. He had given me different cute looks (I find to get me to smile). Also, he moves in body in my direction. I haven't talked to him because I have been nervous. Now, he sits next to another girl across the classroom. He has been talking to her, and being friendly with her. Now....

just yesterday, I had talked to him to ask him a question. He was talking to that girl. The girl didn't even turn around and it seemed as if she wanted it to be as if I wasn't there or something. He turned around and looked at me. Then, they went straight on talking imminently. Is he trying to make me jealous? One other thing... I found that girl on Facebook, it says she is in a relationship. It has the whole time. Another thing is that I have this questioning feeling (more worrying feeling)

and I have been crying because of him. I have had crushed before, but none that has made me cry.

1) Is my feeling this way a sign of something?

2) Is he trying to make me jealous?
