As mature adults we must avoid the temptation. And yes, that can be hard sometimes! In that situation I have asked to be moved to another table, and I have also confronted the parents. Yeah, I told the parents that they may think their child is cute but no one else in the restaurant does. On another occasion after I approached the parents I had other patrons and even the wait staff thank me for speaking my mind. The wait staff cannot do so out of fear of online retaliation. No need to blame the child .. it is human nature to try to get away with as much as we can. It's up to the parents to 'control' their children and some parents don't do that very well.

Ask manager to move you, but chilld could fall and hurt themselves. Too many parents don't do a thing now just let them act up.

As much as you would wish it could be done, you should not act with violence. You might choose to speak to the parents but they can't control the child now, so they will not after you speak to them.

No, but you can tell his parents they should have done so ten minutes ago.
