Where can I go to relax and meditate for a few weeks?

I want to be far from humanity, or at least nothing major. I want to be in a place close or inside a temple where I can think and meditate for a while. Preferably inside the mountains or takes at least a hike to get to without any kind of electricity available.

Update:

I'm recovering from a burn out and really need this medicine to heal.

Many state parks offer rustic campsites that have no electricity. Most of them are just $10-$20 a night.

Jesus, Creator of everything, gave this advice: "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him." (Matthew 6:5-8)

What do we learn from the foregoing passage of scripture:

    1) Do not meditate, at least the modern version of "emptying your mind". It is an ill concept that serves Satan who knows exactly what you are doing and will try to enter your mind.

    2) Do not pray in public. It is for show. We are not talking about a prayer to ask for a blessing on a meeting or in a church service. We are talking about making a point to show off your "religiosity" before others. One religion does this five times a day. Jesus called such people hypocrites.

    3) Do pray in secret. As Jesus said - in your closet. Or in a room to yourself. The conversation is between you and your Heavenly Father. And your Heavenly Father knows exactly what you need before you ask, but you must ask.

    4) No babbling. No mindless repetition of phrases and words that apparently people think means something to God, Who says do not do it because it means nothing as it says nothing.

Now, if you simply need to "get away" from the hustle and bustle of life, the National Parks are excellent venues for appreciating God's creation. If you are a camper, that is best; better yet, is back packing. However, that is a challenge for many. In the mean time, the National Parks always have modest priced motels nearby that would allow you to stay close and then enter the park to go on walks and light hikes. Take lots of pictures to refer to later and revisit the experience.
