    You could have gotten a Best Answer, go to your profile page and click on Answers Tab and then click on Best Answers right next to it and you will see that you got a Best Answer. Each best answer is 10 points but you gain more if someone Thumb Up your answer too.

    Everytime you ask a question you lose points, You can gain some of them back by answering other questions and if you award best answers to your questions.
