Light headed when stretching?

Whenever I stretch my back I always get light headed. It's usually when i'm sitting and I extend my arms out and up. My back and chest almost always crack when I stretch as well. Why would stretching make me light headed?

    For the same reason a YAWN does... It's a temporary increase (or decrease) in the amount of oxygen in your bloodstream.
