I cant stand highschool I am about to cry, help?
So I just got kicked out of a great highschool because my GPA was 0.2 points lower than it should be!! Then now im in 11th grade going to the worst highschool on this planet. For the entire day all kids do is play on their phones and listen to music! The teacher tries to teach but gives up and just sits down! Literally all these kids do is play on their phones in front of the teacher and the teacher does nothing! This is literally all teachers in the entire school. You can also skip so easily and leave school and nothing will happen because it happens so much the ppl working at the school gave up and or dont care. We are not even doing anything! It is such a waste of time and I cant stay in this school for two more years. But i cant drop out cause than there is no more point in life. Please help please I pray to God I know he will lead me on a path to happiness! But, in the meanwhile what can I do to push through?

Step one is to talk to the guidance counselor to find out if there are any enrichment programs (like "dual credit") available to you. In a "dual credit" course, you get credit both for high school and college work at the same time. If that's not possible, explain how important it is to you to have teachers who will challenge you, and the counselor will at least be able to put you into classes which have the best chance of improving your skills. Finally, don't allow outside influences to decide how much you benefit -- that's your decision alone. You are the one who reads the textbook, you are the one who studies for tests, you are the one who does additional research on topics of interest, and you are the one who makes good choices or bad ones. Whether the teacher of any particular class has "given up" or not, you still have opportunities available to you. There is an old saying that goes, "A poor workman always blames his tools." Whether you learn or not isn't the fault of the other students around you or the fault of teachers' attitudes, but rather the result of whether you step up, take responsibility, and make the best of the situation.
