If I am one of three top candidates, I should hear back regardless of the decision, right?

I just had my 2nd interview last week, and I am assuming that I will hear back whether or not I got the job. I should hear back, regardless, right?

    Maybe, maybe not.

    Some companies don't call you to let you know that you did not get the job. Some do.

    If you have not heard from the company after 7 business days, call them and ask.

    Maybe. Yes it would be polite to let you know either way, but not everyone does.

    Not necessarily. My employer didn't contact a short list of five.
