Do prayers have an effective range?

We know prayers are answered in notoriously fickle fashion. Do believers think that proximity has anything to do with efficacy?

Why would prayers have to travel any distance, if "god" is supposed to be everywhere? Prayers to a jar of mayonnaise are just as effective.

No we can pray for people in the Middle East and live in the USA. Doesn't matter where you are you can pray for anyone because God is everywhere.

So, even you admit they are ineffective

If you pray to god, or a fire hydrant, or to random chance, the result is the same as if you didn't.

    Nothing fails like prayer.

Say no to drugs and gods. Stay real.

Those who believe GOD is OUTSIDE of their SELF --need Range -1000 Light Years --Those who believe -"SANE BEIEF"--that GOD is verily within them --they do NOT need Range --They Pray "SILENTLY" --Some Religious Concepts are SANE --some others are **-**** .

There are such a high number of cases where a Christian was in an extremely dangerous or dire situation when suddenly they were miraculously delivered from it. Later they learn that someone in a different country, not knowing what was going on had an overwhelming urge to pray for them. Later, the Christian who had been prayed for learned that their release from the situation occured at the exact moment the other prayed for them due to the strong inner urging

Such was the case when a person in Japan who I had not seen or had any contact with for over ten years 12 years prayed for my dire situation while I was in Libya though she did not have any idea where I was

    Words don't pray. Emotions do.

I don't know, but their powers of ineffectiveness are virtually limitless!

Yes. They range from "naive" to "stupid".

No, prayers have an unlimited range and travel at an instantaneous speed. Some fool didn't agree and built some stupid thing called a PrayerMax 5000 and nearly electrocuted himself with it.

Their effective range is zero. Grow up.
