    great question.............

Yes, of course, they can. By acts of god insurance companies do not mean something directly caused by a god. Perhaps they are simply too lazy or too stupid to come up with a more appropriate term.

Why would Christians want such a policy?  Don't they believe that everything that happens is God's will and seeking payment is saying they don't trust God?

That depends.  Most insurance companies don't pay out if their policy says something is an Act of God.  However, there are companies that do.  You just have to look around.  "Go Compare"

"Acts of God" is a legal expression referring to things that humans can't control.  It doesn't literally mean that God did it. Why are Christians so literal minded?  Why can't they comprehend expressions?

Yes, the insurance companies don't care if a policyholder believes in God or not.

Nobody can BUT Since Christians claim God is responsible for everything and insurance companies refuse to pay out for acts of God why do you waster your money paying insurance or do you lie when claiming?!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, definition of "act of God": an instance of uncontrollable natural forces in operation (often used in insurance claims).  Note: the definition does not mention "God" because "God" doesn't really do anything.  It implies he is fake.
