Sin is something that is forbidden by God. Why would God come to earth and die for a human being sin when he can just forgive the sin?

Because He cannot "just forgive the sin". He has stated that it does not work that way. Sin cannot be ignored; it can only be forgiven by payment:

"For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life" (Leviticus 17:11).

"In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Hebrews 9:22).

You see that the principle of shedding blood for sin is in both the Old and New Testaments. Jesus was the blood payment for all of our sins. "God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished—he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus" (Romans 3:25-26).

“Frank Barnwell”, the process of GOD for mankind’s salvation acknowledges that sin is not a one-time event in human experience, and sin must be addressed through a continuous relationship with the Creator. The sinner must be transformed to share in the “oneness” without “sameness” that exists among the “persons” of GOD. Many are unable to recognize and understand that sin is contrary to their own makeup that includes “life essence” (we also say, breath, spirit, word) from GOD. Thus, angels and men may take sin to be natural and normal; however, the character, nature, and substance of sin have not been created by GOD.

Because sin is the transgression of divine law, sin appears on a level of engagement with GOD that is greater than a mere “mistake”. Sin opposes the continued existence of divinity, yet, sin has direction, effect and “presence”. The operations of sin promote chaos, non-existence, and the restoration of conditions that existed before the creation of heaven and earth. The operations of sin may dominate awareness and self-will within created beings and living creatures.

Inseparable aspects and qualities that establish both existence and life within mankind have been imparted from the makeup of GOD. Included are faith, holiness, joy, longsuffering, lovingkindness, wisdom, and wrath against sin. In the same way, Adam had to be put to sleep (death) for the separating of a rib that would be made his female companion, for mankind to receive a fresh endowment of spirit content that would include a measure of divine will that can not be dominated and influenced by sin first required the appearance of GOD in the “person” of Jesus Christ (the Incarnation). So to speak, through death and burial of ones inborn spirit, resurrection from the dead, and rebirth from divine DNA become possible. Consider again the following that uses language from the Bible:

Romans 6: 3-11, King James Version (KJV): 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(2.) 2nd Corinthians 5: 17, KJV: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

There is far more to be said, correctly examined, and spiritually apprehended. (For example, (3.) Romans 8: 5-9, KJV: 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.) Even so, I trust this fragment will be useful. Be it unto you according to your faith.

Sin is an invention by the Roman catholic church, a jew on a stick is meant to be the cure.

Not really. Sin is an idea made up by priests to make people feel insignificant and guilty. People who feel insignificant and guilty tend to do what you tell them. Particularly when you are their only hope of ever getting out of that guilt.

Sin is a lie.

It is complex, just doing think about it. Just obey him.

You say WHY like any answer will reveal the necessity BUT JESUS denies that totally : IT WAS FREELY DONE. You say "No, if I didn't have to I wouldn't" _-- that shows you think God is like you. HE IS NOT

Two things:

1) As an atheist, it is impossible for me to commit an affront to a god, therefore, it is impossible for me to sin.

2) In the fairy story called "The Bible", the author's realized they needed that story line "for plot".

Imagine if JRR Tolkien had Gandalf take the ring on the back of an Eagle and dropped it into Mount Doom.

Why do you imprison those who break the law of the state ? Why can't you simply forgive and release them ? It doesn't work that way, right ?

Now do you understand why punishment is needed for humans when we break God's law?

But God is so loving and merciful. He can't see us being punished. So, he came to earth as a human and took OUR punishment on the cross.
