What do I say so that the lady will let me say good bye to my missing cat? I already told her I won't take the cat. Missing for 9 months,?

My lost cat 1/9/2017, then found in May, 5 months after, no tags or chip. I saw it on sept, that they were trying to get someone to take the cat 4 months before in an website of missing cat. She give it to her sister that has kids, that they would be heartbroken, she said. She's afraid that I might take the cat. I only want to say good bye for closer. My sister suggested to take a video to see if it's even the cat, they live 2 hrs away. I told her to video to see if it's even the cat. I am 99.9 sure, she thinks so too, cat belongs to my sister, gave it to me, had it for a wk, then escape from the garage window. She tells my that she chipped the cat. I still want to say good bye for closer, since it was my fault that the cat took off at least I blame myself. What do I say so that the lady will let me say good bye? I already told her I won't take the cat. Pease Help Me. Simi Valley California 9/27/2017thx

Update:

I text back after she didn't, found out she was busy. She text back did do the video, sent it, said she was sorry it took so long. also gave me her sister number to view the cat to make sure that is the cat. She can keep the cat. I already have 2 large cats. I just want to make sure that is the cat, take the cat off of the missing cat website, get closure, then move on.

you only had the cat for a week! they've had it, and loved it longer...I don't blame them for not letting a stranger into their house to say goodbye to a cat they only had a week. ask for a video and see that the cat is happy and healthy and then move on....if you can't get closure from this then take yourself to therapy because something is really wrong and it has nothing to do with this cat!!

You move on with life. You clearly never loved or cared about the cat since you let it roam loose ad you have o proof its even your cat.

You never chipped it or anything ad let it roam loose so you never cared for it. Ad since you have no proof its your cat, you have no right to harasses a stranger about it

You're right Kate it doesn't have anything to do with the cat. I only had it for 6 days before it escape into the wild, it had something to do with human kindness. She agree then decided not too. She is a fake. I'm not like that. I can't understand how another human being can be so cruel to lead people on, not go through with it, they never intended to do. I am trying to find the answer to this on yahoo answer. Why did she agree with seeing the cat, then changed her mind without a word, text, responses.

You already told her that you won't take the cat, so what was her reaction? Was she heartbroken or angry? It's your cat and you are her human. You have every right to take the cat back from them. If I was you then I would not waste any time and go to them and politely ask for getting my cat back. If they start to be rude to you then I would suggest you to ask them again & again with more intensity every time. If you can't do that then just ask them if you can come see and play with her every week, maybe they will understand that you love her and can't let her go away from you like that.

BE A MAN! She's a part of YOUR FAMILY!!! If your sister, daughter or niece got lost and found after 5 months with no memory of past and with another family then would you let her live with them? There's a possibility that they stole your cat! You need to act now! She's not just an animal! She's a part of your family!!!

Trick her and take your cat. They stole it, I know they did.

Who cares about the kids. That's your cat
