Non-Cancerous brain tumor i need answers?

My cousin (By Marriage) has a brain tumor it has been removed 2 times and now its back but this time she was found unresponsive, and had 2 seizures on the way to the hospital. how dangerous is this situation? ive been told its non cancerous so what exactly are we looking at here?

    All this question proves is that you don't know what you are talking about. If it grows it isn't noncancerous.

    There's really no such thing as a noncancerous brain tumor. As someone who's had brain cancer I know they almost ALWAYS grow back.

    I'm an EMT, not a Neurologist, so my understanding of brain tumors is limited. Nonetheless, this sounds very serious. Anything wrong with the brain is serious. There's only so much space inside the cranium, so when a tumor grows, it puts pressure on the brain. This is possibly what caused the decreased level of consciousness and the seizures, both of which are serious, regardless of the cause.

    The good news is that apparently the tumor is somewhere the surgeons can access and operate. Also, since you say the tumor is non-cancerous, it won't spread to other organs (metastasis). That's about as much as I can tell you. I wish the best for you and your cousin.
