Absolutely. There's a Mexican restaurant my boyfriend and I used to go to all the time because their food is amazing but we got the same bad server like three times in a row. We haven't been there in months because neither of us can justify leaving a reasonable tip for service that is so horrible, but since we both work at a restaurant we'd never leave no tip... so we just go elsewhere.

they say people will return to a restaurant with medium on food and excellent with service but not with excellent food and poor service.

I only ate there once.
I left a 1 penny tip.
The service was diabolical.
They went bust due to lack of custom.
