Does everyone have a growth spurt?

I'll be 15 in a couple days and 5'5. My weight is healthy.

Why am I so short? My friends are all 5'6+ and I'm one of the shortest in my class. I've tried hot showers and baths, milk and proteins and that but I won't grow!!

I haven't had a growth spurt yet and since I'm adopted, I can't compare to my genetic parents so what do I do? Help?

No, some people just grow fairly steadily; I did.

    See http://www.fpnotebook.com/Endo/Exam/MlTnrStg.htm

Even if you don't grow much more, so what ? At least you will never knock yourself out on a door closer, or have very limited choice of vehicles, be able to buy clothes anywhere, etc. At 6'5" I can tell you there is a downside to height.

There is nothing safe you can do to increase your height.

Anyone claiming to be selling HgH [human growth hormone] without a prescription is selling at best sugar pills, and not something actively toxic.

No malnutrition prevents stunting growth. That doesn't mean proper nutrition causes growth.

Only your DNA causes growth. Your biological parentage doesn't matter except that their DNA combined to create yours, but yours is independent of theirs.
