Can anyone answer my wedding gift question?

I gave a gift at a bridal shower and also had a gift mailed to the couple's house before their wedding. Is it proper protocol to also give them a third wedding gift at their wedding and reception or is it optional? Also, is it proper protocol to give them a third card of congratulations or is it optional?

You don't need to bring a gift to the reception if you have already given them a gift. A card would be appropriate.

If the gift mailed to them is their wedding gift, you don't need to get them anything else

A gift for a wedding or engagement is never mandatory.

The only gift that was mandatory was the one you gave at the shower.

The *wedding gift* you had delivered was your own choice.

You already gave them a shower gift and then a wedding gift.

    You are done.

Good for you. Old fashioned etiquette was to send the present before. No you do not need to send anything else.
