Opinions on daddy kink/ddlg relationships/bdsm?

I'm into sub/dom and BDSM, but I'm indifferent on the daddy kink. I'm not into it much but also not against it either.
My husband isn't into the daddy kink, either. He prefers things like sir, master and things of that nature. Simply because he says it feels wrong since he well is a daddy.
