What are my chances to being accepted to this job ?

I have applied to the university of California in Riverside,I'm going to work as an economic lecturer there,I'm applying from a foreign country and I have a phd in economics as well but I just ended my thesis and gained my doctorate a few weeks ago so no experience although they didnt ask for it,plus I'm not sure if they specifically asked for appliers from the United states or people looking for jobs in America from an overseas nation.

Most of these jobs don't require experience teaching as a professor. They'll hire you based mainly on your research.

If there aren't qualified applicants from the US, they can and will consider people from other countries. In economics, it may be possible that they can consider you. It was worth your time to apply. Good luck.
