How do I get to different categories on Yahoo Answers?

Its two clicks: the main category at the top of the bag (yahoo products) then All categories. It really is less work than people think

In the black square at the top of the main question page you will see 'All Categories',click on that.

You could bookmark the categories to your browser and have them available. Here is the link: /dir/index?sid=

Click on any category which shows up in one of your answers or questions. Then a bar will pop up on top where you can click on "All Categories" and then you will have the entire menu.

It's more cumbersome and maybe one day they'll fix it.

Since the side bar for navigation is not working, simply open any question. At the top will be the "bread crumb" links that go to the category of that question. Click the first link in the chain. This will open a box above the questions that you can use for navigation.
