I have never noticed what sales people dive unless I am riding with them - then I judge some by how clean the car is and some by how they drive. Mostly I judge by the feeling the person projects: quiet confidence, giving me a balanced picture of costs and benefits, that sort of thing. One salesman showed up drunk with a cockamamie story. It takes all kinds.

I do that all the time. I see all these people who say "Make America Great Again" drive foreign brands from Japan (e.g. Toyota, Honda) or drive Fords made in Mexico which disproves their point. Driving foreign made by foreigners who aren't Caucasian like you and supporting nationalism is a heavy contradiction at that. With that same logic in place, you shouldn't **** off to Beyonce, you shouldn't eat Mexican food, etc. but you can drink vodka because it's Russian.

If you can, I would park it out of sight of the potential buyer and hoof it to their door.

Projecting a positive image I respectable appearance while working in Sales is a full time job all by it self,,& all manner of expenses from suits, ties & shoes to Automotive maintenance are a Tax write-off,, Check with whomever helps with your taxes for details about how that works,,'
But,,
Your car could be brand new, & if it looks like a POS you can expect people that you want to make an impression on to Not be impressed,,
Or,,
Your car could have rolled off the assembly-line when Doctors were still doing cigarette commercials & have millions of miles on it, but if it Looks brand New, People you want to make an impression on will Definitely notice & be impressed!!
Buy some Armorall, , small can-o-Bondo & touch-up paint ,TireBlack, keep your ride washed & Waxed & detailed inside & out,,
It might not look remarkable enough to even be noticed, but if it looks like a POS, considering how it would clash with even the most respectable Business-attire ,,it almost certainly would be,,,
Even if it's just transportation & your not a 'Car-Guy', it's incredible what taking care of your car as if it were your most important business suit can do for your confidence...

TAXES ARE HIGH ON NEW CARS; NEW CARS FOR ONLY NEW UNTIL YOU ROLL THEM OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR

Just the fact you are 20 and inexperienced is enough to make me search for someone else. Your driving a POS ghetto car isn't going to help your new career.
