My whole life I have been a mac guy. now I am switching to PC. Last night for work I had some chrome tabs open filling out a form I needed, however, I went to sleep and set my computer to sleep as well, expecting that when I awake it will be where I left off....that was not the case. Instead all my tabs were closed. Yes, I know how to recover lost tabs in chrome and re-open them, but all my data was lost!

Is there any way to prevent this? Or does sleep mode on windows 10 automatically close all tabs? HIGHLY inconvenient!

Need to find duplicate names in excel

Leads come into my excel spreadsheet. There is a column for first names, a column for last names.

Need the cells to highlight when ONLY BOTH match

For example, using the cell highlight rule for duplicate values, if the names are:

Bob Jones

Mary Jones

Bob Smith

Then Both "Jones" will be highlighted and both "Bob" will be highlighted, which I DO NOT want

I want it to only highlight if Bob Jones is there TWICE

Is this possible?

If I am self employed and my business earns $150,000, and I have $35,000 of personal expenses of income that I pay myself and the rest I reinvest into my business and is tax deductible.

Am I in the $35,000 tax bracket or the $150,000 tax bracket?

So some guy sold me an iPad that he said worked. Well when I got it his Apple ID was still on it. I tried to do the Apple ID recovery and it’s still not working. It asked for his credit card info to verify his identity and it’s not working. Now he has blocked me. Since he gave me his credit card info to fix the iPad that he told me is working can I just PayPal myself back the money? cause I’m pretty damn pissed.

So I have recently changed up my diet a lot and am eating much healthier. I realized I don’t eat a ton and I surely don’t eat enough vegetables. Can I substitute eating the actual vegetables to making a broth and just drinking it? I heard ALL the nutrition from vegetables comes out into the water — i would just hate to be leaving some nutrition behind. Will this work?

I am 20 and Drive a 1994 Toyota Corolla. Hood, roof, and mirrors are discolored. Also has some rust spots.

I am 20 and Drive a 1994 Toyota Corolla with some discoloration on the hood and roof. With a few rust spots too. It’s not a nice sight to see.

If I pull up in your driveway, would you base your purchase decision based on the car I drive?

Would you be less inclined to purchase? Or more inclined to purchase because I am young and you see I am working hard? Or would it have no effect on your purchase deciison?

I am beginning a new job here soon with about a 20 minute commute.

I KNOW I CANNOT DEDUCT COMMUTES.

However, I CAN deduct expenses if I have a qualifying home office (most of the work is done from home). I CAN deduct milage expenses between two jobs.

1) I do NOT have a qualifying home office for this job.

2) I AM beginning a part-time home based business that I will be able to work on when I am not at my current job

Will I be able to deduct expenses from home (my home office of my part time job from home on days I work on it) to my other job?

A business woman needs my help learning PowerPoint. She asked what my hourly rate is. I was thinking $15-$20 per hour to teach her. What do you think? I m not certified really, it s just basic stuff I will be able to teach her that I know: animations, links, graphs, images, slides, etc.

With the company I work with I am always communicating with corporate office (always the same person for me).

She constantly sends me leads, helps me when I make mistakes, and without her help and answering all of my questions I would not have just hit the first major milestone in the company.

I want her to know I appreciate all the work she has done and help she has given. I sent her a card once before when I first started and she sent me my first lead. So what is a good gift I could send this time?

So I am going to be getting my first credit card here soon, and so naturally I will be going with a secured card.

I was thinking of going with Navy Federal Credit Union secured card (reports as unsecured). The only problem is I will have to convince my father to join first because I can't join unless he is a member (he does qualify, just never joined for some reason) or see if my grandfather is a member (I think I can join if he is)

If not NFCU then I was thinking of the Discover secured card (reports as secured)

I am beginning a new career where a nice(er) car can help better your image with people and get more deals done (Sucks, but it is what it is). Right now I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla which runs good but rattles and looks terrible haha.

Now, I am wanting to save as much money as possible, and I'm sure for the first few weeks I can use my parents vehicle when meeting clients, but I want to get my own asap.

So what are some cars that look nice, are good quality, and are relatively cheap? A new car is not needed, but I don't want one older than 4-5 years.

So my parents have placed the router and modem fairly in the middle of the house, however, all the wall are concrete....so it has to go through about 3-4 concrete walls before the signal reaches me, which is seriously slowing down my internet speeds. At first I thought it was my other computer because it was 9 years old, so I got a new macbook pro and the speeds have increased slightly but nowhere near where I need them to be.

So How do I get the signal to reach all the way back here?

So I was talking to this guy the other day and he wants me to negotiate the mortgage on the property that he owns. How would I go about doing that? Am I even allowed to?

He gave me the account number and the mortgage company but I am not on the deed or have signed any papers even remotely related to the property.

Also, how low do you think I could negotiate?

He currently owes about 100k

He says the property is in such poor condition that it needs to be demolished.

I cannot remember if he is behind on payments or not but he doesn t want anything for the property, he just wants it out of his name.

I did a little bit or research and with it costing an average of $50,000 to foreclose on a home do you think it is possible to negotiate for a payoff of around $30,000? That is significantly lower than what is owed but honestly that is about what the property is worth since everything would have to be demolished.

I don t know much about mortgages so help me out here lol
