If you don't have a microwave. You can cook sweet potatoes in a pot of water. Put some bbq sauce on it. You can get dried beans, sort them (take out the broken ones) wash them and simmer them in water until they are done. You can cook brown rice. Just read the directions on the bag. Put mustard on greens. Look on youtube for ideas.

When i was a poor college student, one semester I was really broke. I would buy those big bags of generic cheerios, get my bread from the day old shelf, buy big jars of generic peanut butter, and big bags of generic spaghetti and pasta sauce.
I volunteered at the food bank and got a bag of groceries for free each week.
But it was very hard.

Why not trade your cooking or cleaning or whatever services, for extra food for you. Be creative and helpful.

Without cooking, you can't live on $100 a month....not where I live anyway.
Dry beans and rice are a cheap protein, but they need to be cooked.
Ask your family for help. Look for a food bank. Does a church, Red Cross, etc, offer free meals?

bread, lots of bread and nothing else... or some of those ramen packs. $100 for food for an entire month is rough, there isn't much you can do with that.
