Why is this list utter nonsense? List shows movies that had the highest money loss...?

check rush hour 3. Movie had 140 mil, 258 ,mil money back, that's 118 mil PROFIT yet it's shown as 59mil loss. wtf?

king arthur legend of the sword... 175mil minus 148.7 = 150mil loss somehow. Wtf? At first glance it looks like they are unable to perform 2nd grade math but there must be something missing off this nonsense list that it has been shown extremely poorly and is misleading.

According to the link you provided:

"Many films on this list grossed more than their production budgets but yet are still regarded as flops. This can be due to Hollywood accounting practices that typically manipulate profits or keep costs secret to avoid profit-sharing agreements,[1] but it is also possible for films to lose money legitimately even when the theatrical gross exceeds the budget.

This is because a distributor does not collect the full gross, and the full cost of a film can substantially exceed its production budget once distribution and marketing is taken into account."

For example: Blade Runner 2049 may have had a $150 production budget, but it does not include the marketing budget of the film, which may be large as they produced 3 short films as part of the marketing.

Very few movies lose money when you figure in foreign sales and video sales, ect. But producers want to make their money back instantly and more, so if this doesn't happen, they are very unhappy.
