Why is eating so difficult?

For the last week, I’ve been dealing with gastritis. I haven’t been eating much other than applesauce, toast, and soup on occasion. Now that my symptoms are improving, I can’t force myself to eat. All food is repulsive. I have lost close to 20lbs since last Thursday because I’m eating so minimally. Why is it still so difficult to eat?

Maybe, your body wants you to protect from food that will increase pain. Take sulforaphane, MSM and probiotics...and mind gluten.

    I looked through your questions.

If you want to detox you should take chlorella algae, wild garlic leaf oil, coriander oil, field horsetail tea and zeolith; that will have a good effect to all discomfort.

Question for you: What do you think about amalgam as tooth filling?

Hunger is produced by the hormone ghrelin. Hunger is stopped by the hormone leptin.

Your body's hormonal balance is maintained by a regular diet. Interrupt that regularity (with a virus, say) and your gut flora gets all messed up, which directly effects your hormonal balance.

A week of diarrhea and vomiting has left your gut flora in a state of disarray which has made your hormones in a similar state.

That means no ghrelin, and no ghrelin; no hunger.

It'll take a few days to recover your gut flora and then your hormonal balance.
