In colleges, if you major in musical theater, do they hold musicals?

    Yes they do. Probably about two per school year.

    Musical theater major will not get you a job. Don't waste your time and money on it.

    Our local Bible College has a theatre arts program and they put on an excellent musical every year. Almost the entire town shows up for it.
