Nipple piercing placement wrong. Can I fix this?

I got my nipples pierced yesterday and on one side, the piercer got my Areola instead of my actual nipple. Am I going to have to take it out and let it heal to get it repierced? Or would they be able to fix it right then and there? They don’t hurt and they’re not swollen. The placement is just off. On the left nipple, it went through the nipple but then came out on the areola. It’s unnoticable far away. But up close you can tell, if u pay attention to it.

Is it worth fixing it ?

I am going back to the shop tomorrow to speak with my piercer but as far as today, I’m curious on other people’s experiences

You will have to take out the jewelry, let it fully heal, and then get it repierced.

It will take 12 - 18 months for the scar tissue to fully form and settle, and then make it safe to get repierced.

Or you can learn to live with it.
