The meaning to practical is evidenced based capable of being done or put in effect pass an ideal everything in the Bible is tried tested and beneficial for all of us regardless of nationality religious or anything else. It has many facets to equip us for all aspects of life if we read and apply it it's what you put into it is what you will get out of it.

The WORD of GOD will endure forever.

    while immorality will not.

    Yes , it is practical.

    Yes , it is essential.

LOVE is the key to life. (JESUS is the door)

Source(s): the issues with The Bible stem from a lack of simple understanding. the spirit of error is rampant in this generation. when you lack LIGHT, its difficult to see the TRUTH.

As a Christian, I certainly think so. The Bible explains to us why we are in the mess we are (rebellion against God) and what God, in Jesus, has done to rescue us. The Bible guides us through life and gives us high moral standards (God's moral standards) to live by. The Bible gives us hope for the future because it explains how God is going to deal with the wickedness and evil and corruption that has resulted from our rebellion against God.

The principles in the Bible are as solid and practical today as they ever were and they help us to avoid getting into trouble and causing ourselves harm.

I've known a number of people for whom the Bible (as well as other religious texts and/or beliefs) are a source of strength and hope.

I've also known those for whom it is a crutch, or even a stone around their neck. When taken metaphorically, there is a lot of compiled wisdom in the bible - however there are those who insist on it being 100% literal, and that (in my honest opinion) is nonsense.
