How does the world keep on going with all the horrible things happening on earth?

People still have children.  People still go to work to earn their livings.  Some people still try to practice what Jesus Christ preaches.

The prophecies told of in Revelation are being fulfilled.

One must study the Bible to understand what is going on in the World today.

People are falling away from God.

There is more deception going on then awakening.

It is only going to get worse.

Everything going on now are signs that we are living in the last days of system of things. It’s a prophesy being fulfilled.

Matthew chapter 24 describes it all. Also Luke 21:10,11

But in the near future wickedness, war, crime, and violence will be gone. There will not be any wicked people left on earth. (Psalm 37:10, 11) God will bring “an end to wars throughout the earth.” (Psalm 46:9; Isaiah 2:4) The earth will be full of people who love God and are obedient to him. There will be peace forever.​—Psalm 72:7.

There are good and beautiful things happening too!!   :  )   ;  )   ;  )

The earth is heading for another spring cleaning to rid the earth of all those trying to destroy the earth because of greed Those getting accurate knowledge of the true God and His son will then have the priviledge of restoring the earth to paradise witness the ressurection and with those ones live eternally on earth which will fulfil Jehovahs original unfailing plan Rev 11;18  Acts 24;15 Psalm 37;esp verse 34 and 29  Isaiah 65;20-25 John 17;1-6

The world keeps turning round and round despite the actions of our murderous species.

i'll give this world a few more years until the world finally ends

Inertia mostly. Earth started with a whole mess of it and is using it up very slowly since space has little resistance.

Its been that way since Adam in Eden. After he betrayed God, the next thing to happen was murder when Cain slew his twin brother Abel. Expect it to get worse. 

It's really hard to die actually. If you think about it most are dead etc. So kind of dumb to overthink
