I have been having bloody noses A lot, Am I okay?

Ive tried Humidafires, windows open and everything! My bloody noses last about 2-10 minutes. This has been happening very Summer-Fall for the past couple of years. Ive seen doctors but the dont know either. My blood clots are INSANIELY LONG and feel so weird. Any Ideas why this is happening?

    Ricki is likely right.

It could be a severe allergy, but the capillary sounds more plausible.

    We're you given blood tests?

It has been pretty dry but if it continues even longer than this you should go see a professional

Are the nose bleeds from dry air? Is your skin really dry?

I have really dry skin - in the winter, my eyelids would crack and bleed, my nose would bleed, and it was all very painful. One thing I found that helps is more oil in the diet - not just any oil though - first, try primrose oil. This is what I know about it. When we eat fat, our bodies turn that fat into GLA (gamma linolic acid - sorry I don't know how to spell this, but you can look up GLA).. so the fat gets turned to GLA and ONLY then can it lubricate the skin. There is a theory that people with really dry skin are not able to make GLA efficiently.. meaning you can eat a pound of butter and still have dry skin, if you can't make GLA. Primrose oil (and borage oil) both CONTAIN GLA - so you are ingesting it, and not relying on your body to make it.. this was a life changer for me. My skin was so dry that I got eczema and for 5 long years my hands and feet were like raw meat - GLA fixed this and you can notice a difference the same day you take it.. (dry skin is not healthy skin, so that is why I got the eczema).. just a few notes on Primrose oil and borage oil - they are expensive, because the oil comes from plants that are handpicked etc.. but well worth the cost if they help!!! Secondly, borage oil has more GLA, but is harder to find, somehow.. Primrose oil is effective though and you can find this at some drug stores, but definitely at a health food store. It comes in capsules - you are moisturizing from the inside and for me, it worked fantastic..when you first start primrose oil, you get a buzzing headache, nothing serious, that can last a day or two, but then it goes away... lastly, keep in mind that you still need to drink lots of water, and stay away from dehydrating drinks.. moisture can only be locked into the skin, if there IS moisture to lock in :-) Try drinking more plain water, and keep an eye on your hands - when your fingers look wrinkly (looking at the palms), then you need more water..

Another oil I have been experimenting with is omega 3 fish oil.. in my case, I really think that I need more oil than I am getting - my whole body dries out more in the winter, so I am taking extra oil for now.. but give the primrose oil a try and I really think this will fix things quickly..
