Am i being a bad friend?
My friend asked me if I could give her 200 dollars to go to Mexico. she claims she will pay me back and she says she really wants to go but she has to pay her car insurance. My birthday is in 2 weeks and I’m going to Paris. I really don’t like loaning people money plus my birthday is coming up. Am I being a bad friend.

Honestly. Its your own god damn money. Of course you wouldn't be a bad friend. There's tons of people to ask, your friend can't make you the only one to lend her. She might have other people. Don't worry, $200 is ALOT of money. But I doubt she will get you the $200 unless she has a job, if she does shes going to work her *** off.

It depends. If she just a regular friend then no because 200 Hundred dollars is a lot of money. But if she’s like your best friend and you’ve know her for a long time then yes.

No but if they are or not depends on how that person reacts when you tell them “no”.
If they get mad over it then they not you are being a bad friend
If the person in question is understanding of the situation then they are a good friend
Either way you yourself are not at fault

No, you don’t just have all this money to spare, and you’re going to Paris which is such a great opportunity.

Nope. Your birthday's coming up and YOU need the cash to spend on yourself when you're in beautiful Paris! If your friend wants to go to Mexico so bad, she can sell some stuff she doesn't need. Her vacation will mean so much more if she EARNS her way to go, not sponging off her friends.

No.
It's your choice if you want to give her the money, but you're not a bad friend for saying no.
200 dollars is a lot of money and if it had been me, I would've said no. I'm a good friend and I don't mind loaning my friends money, but not that much. Unless, it was for an emergency.
Does she want to go to Mexico for fun? If there's no really good reason for going, then I don't see a reason for you to loan her the money.
It's your money, making it YOUR choice.
You're not a bad friend and if she believes that you are, for not giving her the money...then she is the bad friend :)
