What do you think about a call centre job?

Hello everyone I have just started out at a call centre for almost a month now my training will end by 12th of Feb and I will get certified and ready to start taking calls. I just want to know how good or bad this job is and what should I consider about this job for my future thank you all:)

It's an entry level job. Most people do call center work if they are looking to get into a job that requires customer service experience. If you are a telemarketer, you are gonna take quite a beating from people you call. Same with a debt collector. Just stay there long enough to gain experience and leave when you find something better. Good luck!!

I should consider finding a new job - I stuck out being in a call center for 3 weeks before I found it soul crushing and miserable.

It’s going to be what you make it. Is it a job? Or is it to be a career? Are there chances for advancement? And do you see yourself succeeding? Good luck and to be forewarned is to be forewarned. DO NOT CALL ME TRYING TO SELL ME ANYTHING.

I think you are in a far better position to make that determination for yourself than any of us are.
