Don't you think that the judgment of sexual abuse lawsuits against Jehovah's Witnesses is unfair?
I am Japanese. Please forget imperfect English.
_
I heard about sexual abuse lawsuits. I think that that ruling is too unfair.
That reason is as follows.
_
1. Elders' judgment is "estimated innocence" based on "insufficient evidence" and is the same as the standard of general courts.
2. If parents of victim were loyal to the instructions from the organization, sexual abuse cases should have not occurred.
3. The source of pollution of sexual abuse is not in Jehovah's Witness, but in the dark part of American society.

all imperfect judgments are flawed but humans can't create perfect judgments when they aren't omnipotent

So you want a religion to be immune from the CRIMINAL LAW do you? Then how can you reconcile sex abuse and the bible?
It is not about victims loyalty but about the totally unchristian sexual abuse!
Reading your post I pity you because if you think like that then you not just support m criminal, unchristian abuse but are likely to find yourself on the wrong side of the law and are criminalising religion!

No. I don't.
In March 2016 the "Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses" in San Diego, California, were told to produce documents about a known child abuser. They claimed they couldn't. So the Californian Supreme Court has slapped them with a fine of $4,000 per day. They have until December 19th to either come up with the documents or petition for a review. The Californian Supreme Court is not best pleased with the Jehovah's Witness legal team for grandstanding and refusal to cooperate. As of this week, the fine stands at $2.4 million.
I wonder how the elders of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in San Diego feel about being abandoned by the Governing Body, of being left to take all the blame. And I wonder how the Governing Body will feel if/when the Californian Supreme Court demands payment in full?
You say - 1. Elders' judgment is "estimated innocence" based on "insufficient evidence" and is the same as the standard of general courts. I say, WRONG. It's because there WAS sufficient evidence to prove the above case that the elders were told to withhold documentation from the courts. And since when would any court of law allow a child victim to be interrogated by untrained men (the elders) in front of their abuser? The elders protect the perpetrators and allow them to continue to have access to children.
You say - 2. If parents of victim were loyal to the instructions from the organization, sexual abuse cases should have not occurred. I say, WRONG. What happens when the abuser is the child’s parent, or a close relative? Don’t you understand how devious and cunning child abusers are? And how can parents protect their children when know abusers in the congregation are never named and shamed?
You say - 3. The source of pollution of sexual abuse is not in Jehovah's Witness, but in the dark part of American society. I say, WRONG. The evil that is being perpetrated in worldwide congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses is happening because the Governing Body refuses to comply with the authorities and report known abusers. They also refuse to hand over documents to the courts and they are in complete denial about the scale of the problem. It’s time the Governing Body were held responsible and forced to comply with legislation to report abusers and protect vulnerable victims.

There are very many judgments against the way JW elders are actively trying to cover-up sexual abuses in their ranks, all over the world. Australia, America, Britain... all over the place. When leadership passes the buck (as does the Governing Body, throwing all responsibility on to elders in individual congregations) and then local elders carry out GB policy by refusing to co-operate with legal authorities in producing records that are vital to investigations, then judgments against them are entirely fair. This is proven in the following case.
A San Diego congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses is being fined $4,000 PER DAY for not producing documents the Court requires. It appears that the Judge in this alleged sex abuse hearing has finally lost patience with the refusal of the JWs to co-operate fully with the Court carrying out its duties of investigation. In order to enable a fair hearing some documents are required. Why have JWs only produced severely blacked-out documents if there’s nothing to hide? Are they trying to protect individual JWs even though their exposure would protect JW children? The Judge is legally entitled to know.
Among the documents requested is a March 14, 1997, "Body of Elders" letter that was sent to congregations throughout the world requesting detailed information on alleged sexual abuse by church leaders. The letter, and subsequent responses generated during the following years, would show that leaders at the New York headquarters and throughout the church were aware of childhood sex abuse by church elders. But the church has refused to comply. And even when doing so they have turned over heavily redacted documents.
"...Watchtower produced documents that redacted the names of victims, elders, perpetrators, congregations (as well as the addresses and contact information of the congregation), towns where abuse occurred, law enforcement agencies that investigated claims, and other material," reads a newly filed court document. "The redactions are so extreme that Plaintiff cannot make use of them. Plaintiff submitted a sampling of these redacted documents to the discovery referee and this Court, who each agreed that the redactions are so broad as to undermine Plaintiff's ability to use them.
"This court determined the requested documents were relevant, unprivileged, and that production would not be overly burdensome. This court also specifically addressed third party privacy, stating: ‘all personal, identifying information pertaining to any third party/victim should be redacted from the documents to address any privacy concerns.’”
In a court motion, Padron's attorney, Irwin Zalkin, says the court must get tough with the church and issue terminating sanctions compelling church leaders and their attorneys to follow orders. If granted, terminating sanctions would impose fines on the church for each day it fails to turn over the documents. If the documents are still not produced after a reasonable amount of time, the judge could order dismissal of the case and render judgment against the Watchtower, the Playa Pacific Spanish Congregation, and Campos.
It looks as if the JWs in this case are using every trick in their JW book to prevent the truth coming out in Court. If they were not trying to keep certain facts hidden, they would have produced documents that enabled the Court to progress the investigation, not stall it. That’s now costing them $4,000 per day, for that sanction has been applied.
That is entirely fair. Do you want more evidence of fair judgments against the closed ranks of the JWs re. sexual abuse?

So, Japan is ok with pedos.
We knew that already.
I've seen your games, anime and magazines,
all glorifying age inappropriate relationships.
Thanks, but we're going to continue putting pedos in jail anyway.
