Everyone is different but perhaps you may benefit from these tips:
1. Put on soft music
2. Exercise vigorously at least 2 hours before bedtime.
3. Be sure the temperature is cool enough in your bedroom (warm and stuffy will keep me awake).
4. Reading a book (or you Bible?) at bedtime.
5. Be sure you eat (especially carbs) no less than 2 hours before bedtime.
6. Practice your math facts, dance forms, music techniques, or other interests in your head.
7. Have a parent give you a back-rub at bedtime
8. A hot bath at bedtime.
9. Is your room dark enough (even a slight amount of light will keep some people awake)?
10. Is your room quiet enough?
11. Is your pillow and mattress soft enough?
12. Do you believe you have all of the tasks planned for the day completed (jobs hanging over your head will keep some awake)

Try taking an over the counter sleep meds like Unisom or Tylenol PM, & see if that helps. Do you have a lot of stress in your life? That can cause insomnia.
