How to deal with an 8th grade breakup.?

We were doing perfectly fine, going onto 6 months. He texts me, and says he doesn’t want a gf anymore. I really liked him. A lot. And we hung out every weekend, but not alone so I guess it was a normal middle school relationship. But man it fu*king hurts so bad. I can’t stop crying and idk how to get over it. I’m really sad but how long will it take to get over it?

Unfortunately relationships are like walking, you need to first learn how to fall before you can learn how to walk. Same thing with relationships. You'll find as you get older your preferred tastes in guys may change for example. It happens to everyone of both genders. I know it hurts because it feels like you've lost a part of you but trust me, you found him so that means you'll find another guy even better next time. Focus on friends for now and your schooling and you'll be just fine. This is a case where time does heal such wounds.

Loss is part of life. We love, we lose, we learn, and we love again.

You’ll get over it when your feelings adjust to the loss. Feel it to heal it.

Give yourself some time to adjust. It takes some time.

It’s OK if he doesn’t want the relationship anymore. It just hurts, because you do want it. (For now.)

An 8th grade break up is just PRACTICE for High School and College.

My solution for NOT dealing with/feeling the pain is to go Flirt, Meet and Date other girls.

I am very NERVOUS doing this, but I'm NOT hurting over a break up.

That is my solution and it work for me. You should try it. There is probably some guy HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, that you are single now.

There will be more heartaches and heartbreaks.

NONE of them will kill you, but you'll get tougher.
