Why do people still believe in a God?

The entire concept just seems silly.

Why do people still believe that the belief systems of all who believe in any god (or gods) are the same? That's pretty silly, too.

    Because he still exist.

Eventually you will believe in Him to but unless you repent in this life it will be too late. Hell will be your reward.

Because God exists. Pretty silly NOT to believe in him.

  • Well! You can reverse your thinking, believe in your god, Satan! But, I warn you! He will lead you to hell, without going back anymore!

If you want someone to get to know you, what might you do? Would you not tell the person your name? Does God have a name? Many religions answer that his name is “God” or “Lord,” but those are not personal names. They are titles, just as “king” and “president” are titles. The Bible teaches that God has many titles. “God” and “Lord” are among them. However, the Bible also teaches that God has a personal name: Jehovah. Psalm 83:18 says: “You, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth. The truth is that God’s name appears thousands of times in ancient Bible manuscripts. So Jehovah wants you to know his name and to use it. In a sense, he is using the Bible to introduce himself to you.

I think it's silly for adults to go without hats on a cold winter day and even sillier to then expect their children to wear hats.

No, what's silly is that people blame God (in which they don't believe in) when something bad happens to them or in the world.
