Is there a name for this?? (has to do with writing/words)?

Alright I ll give you an example of what I m thinking: you have two words, ABCD and efgh. When you put the two words together, it creates a normal phrase, such as drop dead are two different words but when you put them together it makes sense. however, when you combine them such as AeBfCgDh, it creates another word that is real. Is there a name for that or am I crazy? Or are there just any examples of things like that?

The new word is an anagram of the former. Of course, the first word is also an anagram of the new word.

yes, it's called a compound word. Like Base ball becomes Baseball.

Here is a pretty good list of compound words

    Confusion!

Big Al would become Bigal and those are two different types of people.
