I have a 2 in 1 laptop. When I use it as a tablet and in stand-up mode, does the keyboard (and keys) get squished? How do I prevent this?

No your tablet is made in such a way that the keys do not get pushed in the people that designed it molded plastic to prevent this furthermore they put an internal switch into the keyboard so that when you swivel it and fold it to that position it shuts the keyboard down

Most probably not. I'd imagine the engineers who designed the laptop would have figured that out in advance and made the keys lower than the rest of the frame around it.
