There is some evidence that he is serious, but as the president said "time will tell".

It seems most are missing the OBVIOUS.
What his regime has sought for the last 68 years, is LEGITIMACY.
By being taken seriously as a world leader, and heralded, and fete'd and invited by world leaders to sit down.......
you're already giving him precisely what he wants,..........and he hasn't give jack squat in return yet.
and who would take TRUMP's word for anything, when he lies every single damn day and backs out of every deal America has signed and gave their word on. ??

Not me. I have real doubts about someone going from bragging about being able to destroy the US to singing Kumbaya in less than a year. Doesn't mean we shouldn't engage but not trust a thing he says only actions that are verified beyond doubt.
I am also not impressed at a summit between two proven liars and braggarts. Trump admitted to lying to an ally. What will he do with an enemy?

People that are very easy to fool. Kim Jong Un may be a lot of things but I doubt that he is an idiot. He knows that to give up his nukes is to invite an American invasion

The two leaders basically agreed to begin negotiations on a number of issues. Nothing has been settled.
