So backstory: I've been STAUNCHLY against Trump from the beginning.  The way he spoke about women and his narcissistic personality really pissed me off -- and still does! He is just a downright asshole. And then he claimed the election was rigged... and then won?? Like, why would he win an election that was rigged against him? If it was truly rigged, you would think "the powers that be" would make damn sure he wasn't elected in the first place.  And the whole excuse of, "well, he's a businessman! he knows how to earn money!" crap is BS.  Businessmen lie and steal every single day -- it's business!

However, quite frankly, some effed up stuff is going on in this country.  I used to be one of those who looked into conspiracy theories, and the more I delved into them, the crazier they seemed so I backed off.  Yes, I do believe COVID is real and definitely something we need to figure out how to manage.  But Trump asked a question regarding postponing the election... granted, it was just a question, but it does make me wonder, what if the democratic side actually approved of that?  First time in our nation's history we postpone an election due to a virus that was essentially started in China, who basically owns our ***. 

I don't trust MSM at all, and yes that includes Fox News -- it's ALL mainstream, and they ALL have an agenda. Seriously, though, does ANYONE know of any place I can look for fair and unbiased information?

FYI I am in nooooo way a Trump supporter, but by God if he can do this, he's awesome. It is absolutely sickening how capitalism has led to people being unable to afford life-sustaining medications.

Job apps asking for gender, race, etc., I do not think is "systemic racism" or "systemic sexism."  The questions are there for the government to ensure companies are not being prejudicial in regards to whom they hire, and to ensure one group is not being eliminated at higher rates than others. Understandable.

However, is it possible that this push to enforce these anti-discrimination tactics has actually caused just as many problems by having companies meet "quotas" on hiring minorities and women to avoid the "racist" and "sexist" label? Basically: are they hiring people BECAUSE they are women or BECAUSE they are non-white?  Do not misunderstand me: I do not in ANY way believe employees are less worthy of a job just because of their race or sex.  But, the FOCUS that is on race and gender remains as it always has, and in order to do away with racism and sexism, the focus should NOT be on either of those.  They should simply be on if the person is able to do the job adequately, regardless of their appearance and gender.

Are we as a society simply going to the other extreme and not doing away with racism and sexism at all?

Don't even bring up Freedom of Speech. We ALL have that freedom, and that is not the issue. I am not b*tching that they voice their opinions.

The issue is this their blatant hypocrisy and inconsistency of beliefs. How in the hell can someone claim to be a true US patriot while flying the flags of our enemies? While in the same breath support neo-confederates, neo-nazi's and the Altright? The Confederacy LOST, Nazi's LOST.  Why do the Altright go around saying "Hail Victory" which is literally the English for Seig Heil? The US LITERALLY fought in a world war against Nazi Germany and Hitler, yet there are members, veterans even, of Neo-Nazi and Neo-confederate groups claiming to want to bring the US back to its "true" roots.  One would think that if a US veteran in particular supported such groups, that they would not be proud of the fact that they even fought for the US, since the US literally fought against who they support.

We shewed them away when they needed help before. But now we want to strike because children were hurt? It makes no sense.

If teachers carry guns, who will know who the real shooter is and who isn't? Won't it cause mass confusion and leave more victims dead because cops will end up shooting anyone who has a gun?
