why do I feel like a different person at different times but don't have multiple personalities?
ok this is gonna sound weird, but whenever I'm feeling a strong emotion, or nothing or sometimes just at random times, its like I'm a completely different person, I can go from apathetic to happy to sad, but its like each emotion has a different personality, my opinion changes, interests, morals, i mean its obviously not multiple personality disorder because I'm aware and remember, but its like I have no control, like a switch is flipped and I'm totally different, even my writing, is this normal?

You sound much like I felt when I was in my twenties.
I wasn't comfortable in my own skin, I was not even sure who I was. I began to read and learn about philosophy and learned to really THINK.
Until we know why we feel certain ways about certain things we don't even know ourselves.
If we don't know why we think what we think, are we even thinking, really?

It seems like a good idea to go see a doctor and go from there but, check out the doctors credentials and sus out the doctors personality while you're at it - most doctors are alright and genuinely helpful but, there's some doctors who are rude and greedy so they're not honestly attempting to help their patients - also I would recommend to try to go to a family practice opposed to a super medical clinic , however, if symptoms worsen - feel free to contact the ambulance services so the paramedics can take you to the casualty department of the local hospital 🏥 or perhaps you could find another way of getting there
