My recruiter told me that I can take the asvab as many times the school offfers it once in the office and once in a testing facility? True?

    NO actual recruiter told you any such thing. The ONLY ASVAB test that counts for ANYTHING is the one conducted through MEPS and you don't get to try multiple times.

    Note: The ASVAB style test given in schools IS NOT actually the ASVAB.

    you can take as many practice ones as you want. these are the ones you take in high school. you can take one exam in the recruiter's office to determine whether or not you have a shot as passing the official one at MEPS. the official one at MEPS has the restrictions listed above by Llyoyd

    After you take your initial ASVAB, you must wait one calendar month to retake the test. You must wait an additional calendar month to retest a second time. After that, you must wait six calendar months to retake the ASVAB. Your scores may be used for enlistment for up to two years from the date of testing.
