How much longer will this mess of a world exist? I am ready for the new promised Kingdom that will rule. Are you?

Quite honestly yes I'd like to see it. but I've also read The Book of Amos that says do not desire the day of the Lord because it will be a time of great trouble. Yes when God comes back it's going to mean the death of millions of people. And I know it shouldn't feel this way but I think they've had plenty of time to repent.

And I just want to get this thing over with well that's my thinking not saying that it's generally correct. That's just how I feel personally.

The current world is scheduled to run for about 4.5 billion years.

I'm ready for it I've been ready for it for 35 years. But I'm not going to desire the day of the Lord because it will be a terrible day.

Millions will have to die. So I'm just going to be content that Jehovah continues to extend his Mercy.

Meanwhile, back in reality, the average Westerner, which I assume you are since you have access to a computer, lives better today than a king did a couple of centuries ago. You have regular access to clean water, a dependable source of food, heated and in most cases an air conditioned home, medical and dental care, ambulance, fire, and police services, transportation to just about anywhere you'd like to go. Since Roe v. Wade became law in the US, the homicide and violent crime rate has dropped to less than half the level it was in the mid-1990's. So how exactly is this a "mess of a world"?

<I am ready for the new promised Kingdom that will rule.> If you think you see problems in the world around you, the responsible thing to do would be to work on fixing them. Wishful, magical thinking never solved anything, and the cavalry isn't coming. Jesus isn't going to ride over the hill on a white horse and set everything right that man in his stupidity has toppled. It's up to us to keep the air clean and the water pure, and not to just crap where we eat with the expectation that invisible supernatural beings are going to come and fix everything for us.

Mar 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

That "promised kingdom" is the worldwide Christian church. It is here now today.

The passage below compares the church to a city - the City of God that John names "The New Jerusalem" (Rev 21). Note that we Christians live within that city and can go out into the world to do our business - and then quickly retreat back into the city walls. Note especially who lives outside the city walls.

Rev 22:14 ¶ Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Then obey all of Jesus' sayings so you can abide WW III .

Don't hold your breath awaiting a false promise to be fulfilled. You have been scammed like the rest of them.

The world will last about five billion more years.
