How tall will my child be?

I’m 5’6, and my husband is 5’5. Will our kids grow taller than us or be about the same night?

Depends on where they grow up. I've seen short parents produce tall kids in states with higher elevation.

In the state, I was born and raised in... the average height is the same as you and your husbands.

No clue, and i'm sure no one else can make this prediction in any sense of reality either

It's a crap shoot. I've a brother 3 inches shorter than our Dad and my husband is a good 6" taller than his dad. He's at least 4 inches taller than anyone in his family can remember anyone being. While I've on brother who is 6' and one who is 5'6".... and male cousins who are all around 5'9". It's all over the place. My sister is 5'6", her husband is around 5'8" and their son is 6'2". Their daughter is 5'3". How the heck all this happens, I can't tell you. It used to be easier to predict. But people were often wrong. Your entire family lines come into play, not just you and your husband. One of my brothers looks next to nothing like any close family member but is the spitting image of a great grandfather. Lots of genes in the mix!

Honestly there is really no way to tell for sure. If literally everyone in both of your families are the same height, then they will likely be the same height, but that is unlikely. The only solid thing is that men tend to grow longer than women so your sons will likely be taller than your daughters, but even that is not guaranteed.
