I will not lie. I am a little confused. You are saying that a scammer got you to purchase something for 30 some dollars. Then that same scammer got you to purchase 2, 500$ gift cards and 3, 100$ iTunes cards? Did the Google play cards contain 500$ each or was it less? Same for the iTunes cards, did they actually have 100$ each? If the cards contained less then yes you were scammed of your money, but if the cards contained the same amount that you paid then you were not scammed. Because you offered up such little info I cant say for sure. Honestly it sounds like you willinling bought those gift cards and you regret it now? I cant point fingers because your question is at best jumbled and contains very little info.
If in the case that you were scammed, your bank will figure it out and most likely remove the charges. But just so you know if you have those cards and they were bought legally they will have you return them. Your credit card is not about to give up over a grand in cash.
