What is love? I need someone to explain this strange emotion to me who has never experienced it.?

I'm sure you're going to get a very wide range of answers but I'll tell you what I've experienced.

To me love is feeling your heart speed up and your mood brighten at the thought of them or the mention of their name.

It's noting interesting, funny or random things that happen when you're apart and the first one you want to tell is them.

It's hearing their ringtone and being excited to pick up the phone.

It's knowing they are nervous about a business meeting and reminding them of all the amazing things they do that makes the company love them and reassuring them.

It's waking up at 3am when a leg cramp jars them awake and massaging it out because when they're in pain you feel it in your chest.

It's knowing they'd protect you with their life but you'd protect them with yours to keep that from happening.

It's different things to everyone, but I think it's different versions of some of those things, too.
