Christians, why do most Christians believe in either Hyper Grace or Legalism, and neglect the true Sound Doctrine that the Bible teaches?

Lots of Christians do not read the Bible regularly and prayerfully with an open non-biased mind. Very few have the confidence to admit the failings in their own churches teaching and ministries. The perfect church does not exist, most miss some important Biblical teaching nor do they aim to follow the model for church meetings as laid down or referred to in the New Testament. We must devour scripture and discover how our church is failing to deliver the full and true Gospel, then we need to be patient and simply love our church which is a company of believers at various stages in the Christian understanding and journey. Christ-like Love does take away the human desire to grumble and criticise! Love should be our aim - not perfect doctrine! which represent 'the letter of the law' which St Paul warns against as hostile to spiritual growth.

I think it's because they only listen and not study. So they're either hearing "Come as you are" or evangelism. God expects complete devotion, but will forgive your true repentance.
I have a question back. Read about the origins of Judaism, and it will say it came out of a polytheistic society. (If you are unaware, look on Wikipedia.) BUT where / when BEFORE Judaism do you see ANY signs of people already following Abraham's God, before them?
