How do I set up my college application letter? Help!!?

So I'm working on an application letter but I have no idea what kind of stuff is important to include and what order I should be saying things? I need a strong one for this college because my GPA is pretty high and is good enough for them but my ACT score doesn't necessarily fit their standards. I would love to go to this college and I feel that one test score doesn't accurately show how well I do throughout the school year. Please help me set it up, I would really appreciate it

Update:

Also should I be putting everything in one big paragraph or in multiple paragraphs?

Application letter? Do you mean your college essay? Usually you fill out an application and send in a college essay. No essay should be written in one big paragraph. Sorry but a senior in high school should know how to write an essay.

Your college essay should tell the university more about yourself than what they can read in black and white on your transcript.

My daughter wrote about having severe asthma and how it affected her. Her friends wrote about-having an autistic brother attend HS with her. - being an athlete on the state campion tennis team and keeping up with academics - coming from a bilingual family- traveling overseas for three months with their family.

Wrote your essay and see if your HS counselor or your English teacher can read it and critique it.

Go to the public library and do research on writing a college essay.
