I'm in a class for how to properly analyze and argue successfully. We have a big project and it's supposed to be us arguing for an issue that we feel strongly about. My argument is about how we should redistribute a portion of funding from the police department in my city and put that money towards services that would benefit the community. I'm struggling to find opportunities in my argument to include modes (an important image that says something words alone cannot say such as language, images, sound, gestures, and spatial relations) that would be mostly successful in further persuading my audience. 

I am on both because the implant gave me irregular periods so my doctor told me to start taking the pill. Ever since I started also taking the pill, my boyfriend hasn’t been pulling out. I’m worried I may have signs of being pregnant but I’m not sure if taking the pill in addition to the implant makes it more effective or if it doesn’t have any impact whatsoever. Please help

So I got the implant put in in October and I’ve had my period for 110 days so my doctor prescribed me the pill to go on at the same time to get rid of my period. The period has gone away thank god, but is taking the pill while having the implant in “double protection” against becoming pregnant since they’re both birth control? Or do the pills have no effect on this?

So Christmas is coming up and I wanna buy my boyfriend a really nice gift but I’m broke and have no way of getting a job since I’m always dancing (I’m 18 and a senior in high school) I’m considering donating plasma (the place that does it is called Biolife) because they pay you each time you donate and that sounds like an easy way to get money but I was wondering if anyone has done it before? And if yes, have you experienced any bad side effects or anything?

So for background; I've been dating my boyfriend for a year and a half and we have a very good relationship. He's affectionate and loyal and just an overall great guy, I know he wouldn't cheat. & I have been best friends with this girl for almost a year now (We're all 18). My boyfriend didn't like her at first but once he got to know her, he told me that she was the favorite of my friends. Things were good and the 3 of us always hung out in groups (the 3 of us have the same friend group) throughout the year and stuff but for the past few months, I've noticed some things that just seemed very odd to me. Now before I say this, I will admit that I am a very insecure person who tends to get jealous easily but some signs that I've noticed have just been a little too bizarre that's it really hard for me to overlook. For starters, whenever she's over, I noticed that he suddenly becomes very smiley and talks to her for most of the time. I've also noticed that whenever we hang out in groups with many people, I've caught him staring at her for long periods of time. Not only that, but he is someone who NEVER wears cologne but recently over thanksgiving break, my best friend visited from college and I noticed that one of the days the 3 of us hung out, he was wearing cologne for some reason. He also always takes her side when I tell him about our arguments, and always asks stuff about her. I don't know if I'm overreacting but I really hate being insecure about something like this.

I'm honestly confused by this response. Does this mean I have to get my period for it to be effective? I haven't gotten my period in over a month and it was inserted about 3 weeks ago so does that mean it's effective now?

I just got my nose pierced and I absolutely love the look of the stud but I noticed that most girls who have a nose piercing have the ring. I personally am not a fan of it so I just wanna know the appeal of the ring vs the stud?

It's especially bad when I'm in the shower. Does anyone else have this issue and how can I prevent this from happening?

So I'm working on an application letter but I have no idea what kind of stuff is important to include and what order I should be saying things? I need a strong one for this college because my GPA is pretty high and is good enough for them but my ACT score doesn't necessarily fit their standards. I would love to go to this college and I feel that one test score doesn't accurately show how well I do throughout the school year. Please help me set it up, I would really appreciate it

So me and my boyfriend have been together for a year and 4 months, I am 17 almost 18 and he is 18. We took things extremely slow in our relationship (we're each other's firsts for everything & it took us 2 months to kiss and almost 11 months to have sex for reference) and honestly before we dated, I thought I was asexual as I had absolutely no sexual desires. Ever since we've had sex though, I've found myself constantly thinking about it and alwayyys wonder about when the next time will be. In June, we did it on a daily basis pretty much and he seemed to always want it & as the end of the summer is approaching, he doesn't seem to want to do it as often. Not that I expect him to want it every single day but he doesn't seem to want to as much lately. He's still extremely affectionate and loving towards me so I doubt he's losing interest or anything but I just worry that I'm not as attractive to him anymore. I feel like it's weird of me to want this more than my boyfriend. I adore him and feel bad for always being so sexually frustrated. Sorry if my question isn't clear because this description is all over the place, I just want to know why the hell I'm always so horny lmao

I'm a 17 year old female who eats barely a meal a day. I take adderall for ADHD and to be completely honest, while it does help me a LOT in school, it also completely takes away my appetite so I take advantage of it a lot and skip meals because I know I won't feel any hunger if I do. This has been going on and off since freshman year (3 years) . I tend to eat barely a meal on weekdays but then on weekends and breaks (like winter break, summer break) when I wouldn't take adderall, I would binge like crazy. I'm a very active competitive dancer so I know eating one meal a day on days where I'm exercising a lot & burning a lot of calories is dangerous but I just can't seem to make myself eat more. I know I do it on purpose but I just have such a huge fear of gaining weight and being unattractive and I hate eating in front of people. I don't know if this is a serious problem and I don't know if I should seek help. Lately I've been so upset and have been having major mood swings and I'm always dizzy from doing anything and I just have the worst memory. Every time I visit my doctor, she brings up how my weight is down and I always just lie and tell her that I've been exercising more and am eating healthier. My BMI is normal and I'm at a healthy weight but I feel like my eating habits are so unhealthy. I try my hardest to stop being the way I am but I just can't :( Not to give my whole life story out, I just don't know if this is serious or not

I m 15 & my brother and him are 17. My brother has always been chill with me hanging out with him and his friends so do it. He has this friend group and one of them stands out to me lots. He s tall, adorable, always so nice, smart, sarcastic, and by far the funniest person I have ever met. We have some jokes and talk lots. I m almost positive it s not flirting and he probably thinks of me as his "friend s little sister" or a friend which is really frustrating. He s always smiling around me and when he talks to me and teases me too but it s probably just because he s a happy guy. It s so frustrating because whenever I talk about him to my brother, I talk about him like he s just a really funny friend of my brother s and nothing more when in reality, I have big-ish feelings for him that I have to keep bottled up since it is my brothers friend. What should I do about this?? I am almost positive there is no way in hell my brother will let me go anywhere with my feelings and probably won t let me hang around his friend anymore after hearing this. What should I do about my feelings :(

So I was in a class that I have with this guy that I really like and I already think he has the cutest smile ever because like the middle of his cheeks indent and his eyes squint and it's honestly the cutest thing ever and so earlier I looked over at him and saw him smile and literally felt like a shock kinda feeling in my heart. So I'm 14 and have extremely large breasts. I've been trying to get approved for this surgery since I recently turned 13 because of many struggles I deal with because of these. My mom was telling me stuff like "You'll lose feeling in your breasts" and I'm honestly not sure what that means? And I'm very nervous about dying or something going wrong during surgery? What are the worst things that could happen during this and should I really be this worried? I've never gotten surgery before.
