How come most girls prefer a nose ring over a nose stud?

I just got my nose pierced and I absolutely love the look of the stud but I noticed that most girls who have a nose piercing have the ring. I personally am not a fan of it so I just wanna know the appeal of the ring vs the stud?

A nose ring sometimes can present a different image on some girls, like for me, I will wear one when I am feeling more alluring and mysterious and I’ll wear a stud when I’m trying to look less of a trouble maker, And more proper, that’s just my opinion on this situation

I prefer a stud.  And not just any stud.  Has to be a tiny stud, or my face just looks ... slightly wrong.

studs arent that noticeable, but with the nose ring even from a distanace, is noticeable
